After your dermal filler treatment, avoid touching or rubbing the treated areas for at least 6 hours to prevent the filler from shifting. Avoid strenuous exercise, excessive sun exposure, and saunas or hot tubs for the first 24-48 hours. Apply an ice pack to the treated areas for 10-15 minutes at a time to help reduce swelling and discomfort. If you experience any severe pain, swelling, or signs of infection, contact our office immediately. Follow-up treatments may be necessary every 6-12 months to maintain your results, as dermal fillers are gradually absorbed by the body over time.
